Commercial Metals Co. announces board of directors appointment

Commercial Metals Co., Irving, Texas, a manufacturer, recycler, and fabricator of steel and metal products, has named Robert S. Wetherbee to the board of directors.

With more than 40 years of professional experience, Wetherbee currently serves as president/CEO of ATI Inc., a materials supplier to the aerospace, defense, electronics, medical, and specialty energy markets. His career also has included key leadership roles in executive, operational, and business development functions at Mineral Technologies Inc. and Alcoa Inc.
