Commercial Metals names president
Commercial Metals Co., Irving, Texas, a manufacturer, recycler, and fabricator of steel and metal products, has appointed Peter R. Matt as president, effective April 1. He succeeds Barbara R. Smith, who remains chairman/CEO.
Since January 2017, Matt has served as executive vice president/CFO of Constellium SE. Before that, he was managing partner for Tumpline Capital LLC and also held various leadership positions with Credit Suisse.
