Dajcor Aluminum to open first U.S. operation in Kentucky

Dajcor Aluminum Ltd., a manufacturer of extruded and fabricated aluminum products based in Chatham-Kent, Ont., has announced plans to build its first U.S. operations near Hazard, Ky. The $19.6 million investment is expected to create up to 265 full-time jobs.

Operations are scheduled to begin by the end of 2019. The new location will provide the company with additional capacity for aluminum extrusion and fabrication.

The company serves the automotive, renewable energy, medical equipment, transportation, building trades, military, marine, recreation, and consumer-product industries.
