Direct Metals provides materials for I-90 footbridge in Cleveland

Direct Metals, an international steel service center with locations in Kennesaw, Ga., and Waukegan, Ill., has provided 7,541-sq.-ft. of custom-cut, woven intercrimp wire mesh for the I-90 footbridge in Cleveland.

The wire mesh is framed with U-edging and finished with a powder-coated black paint. The panels help keep pedestrians safe and prevent debris from falling onto traffic below.
