IMA considers postponement, location change for upcoming Japan conference because of coronavirus

The International Magnesium Association board of directors has announced it is closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak in relation to its 77th Annual IMA World Magnesium Conference, scheduled for May 13-15 in Fukuoka, Japan, where there are confirmed cases of coronavirus.

The IMA conference planning team and staff are in discussion with hotel partners and conference hosts to review the facts and consider options for postponing the conference or changing the 2020 conference to a new location in the fall. As more information becomes available, the association will send out additional information and update its conference webpages.
