Nix Metals to acquire Superior Fabrication

Poseyville, Ind.-based fabricator Nix Metals has announced plans to acquire Rockport, Ind.-based Superior Fabrication Inc., a provider of structural steel fabrication services for the commercial construction market.

Superior Fabrication will continue to operate out of its Rockport facility as an independent division of Nix. Curtis Drake, founder of Superior, will remain with the company as the division’s operations manager.
