Primetals Technologies receives annealing line order from Emerson Electric

Primetals Technologies has announced that Emerson Electric Co. has ordered installation of a roller hearth and lamination annealing line for the production of air-conditioning units at its Russellville, Ky., facility.

The lamination annealing line, which includes an atmosphere generator, will heat-treat low-carbon and ultralow-carbon steel to soften and impart specific magnetic properties. Startup is expected in spring 2019.
