Samuel to sell carbon plate service centers to Russel Metals

Samuel, Son & Co. Ltd., a metals distributor and industrial products manufacturer in Oakville, Ont., has entered into an agreement to sell its Western Canada and U.S. carbon plate service center operations to Russel Metals Inc.

Locations included in the sale are Winnipeg, Man.; Nisku, Alta.; Calgary, Alta.; Surrey, B.C.; Langley, B.C.; Neville Island, Pa.; and Buffalo, N.Y. The company will continue operating service centers across North America, in addition to its automotive and diversified manufacturing divisions.
