Solar Atmospheres president recognized by MTI

Bob Hill receives the M. Lance Miller Legend Award in absentia in a videotaped acceptance speech.

Solar Atmospheres Inc., Hermitage, Pa., has announced that Bob Hill, president of Solar Atmospheres of Western PA, has received the M. Lance Miller Legend Award in recognition of his leadership and lifetime commitment to the heat-treating industry and Metal Treating Institute.

Hill’s heat-treating career began in 1980 when he joined Precision Heat Treating Inc. as vice president, moving to Solar Atmospheres in 1995.
