Starrett appoints director of sales

The L.S. Starrett Co., Athol, Mass., a manufacturer of measuring tools, gauges, and metrology systems, has announced the appointment of Jon-Michael Raymond as director of sales, North America, industrial products. He succeeds Tony Aspin, vice president of sales, who will be retiring.

Raymond has more than 12 years of experience in the industry, serving for the past three years as vice president of sales for PFERD Inc. He also has held various sales and finance positions for Osborn and Norton | Saint-Gobain Abrasives. Raymond is a graduate of Worcester State University and has an MBA from Assumption College.
