Steelmart Inc. opens steel supercenter in Georgia

Steel supplier and processor Steelmart Inc. has announced the grand opening of its new steel supercenter in Tucker, Ga. The 50,000-sq.-ft. facility stocks hundreds of steel products for businesses throughout the southeastern U.S.

“Over the past few years, we’ve noticed an increase in demand from general contractors, welders, fabricators, and other grab-and-go customers who need steel right away,” said Paul Carling, principal at Steelmart. “Our new steel supercenter caters to the specific product, transport, and processing needs of these customers.”

The inventory includes welding supplies, gate hardware, concrete steps, pipe bollards, metal decking, decorative ornamental iron, structural steel, and miscellaneous steel products. The facility has dedicated chop saws, a shear for cutting sheets and plates, and a hole punch to handle quick processing jobs on-site.
