U.S. DOJ accuses Perfectus Aluminum of illegal Chinese aluminum imports
The Department of Justice has accused Perfectus Aluminum Inc., Ontario, Calif., of illegally importing more than 2.1 million aluminum pallets from China to the U.S. , evading $1.5 billion in tariffs, from 2011 to 2014.
The DOJ has alleged that the company is effectively owned and controlled by Liu Zhongtian, founder and chairman of Chinese aluminum firm China Zhongwang Holdings Ltd.
