Union Corrugating acquires Oakland Metal Buildings

Fayetteville, N.C.-based metal roofing system manufacturer Union Corrugating Co., a portfolio company of Industrial Opportunity Partners, has acquired Oakland Metal Buildings. The manufacturer and distributor of pre-engineered metal buildings will operate in its current 130,000-sq.-ft. facility in Florence, Ala., as a plant location supporting the Union platform.

Besides its headquarters, Union operates 17 manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest U.S.
