Wieland acquires Heyco Metals, National Bronze Manufacturing

With the acquisition of Hummock Industries, Wieland has acquired Heyco Metals, a provider of light- and medium-gauge copper, copper alloy, and stainless steel strip processing, and National Bronze, a manufacturer and distributor of bronze-based bearing products.

Heyco Metals operates a reroll mill in Reading, Pa., serving the automotive, electronics, industrial, and medical markets. National Bronze is based in Roseville, Mich., with customers in a variety of industries. It also operates a metal service center that provides nonferrous bar stock.
