AKS Cutting Systems service manager retires

Cleveland-based AKS Cutting Systems, a subsidiary of Kiffer Industries and a provider of plasma, oxyfuel, waterjet, and fiber laser cutting equipment, has announced the retirement of Greg Mayfield, service manager, after 27 years with the company.

Mayfield originally joined the company as an electrician. Since then he has accepted increasingly responsible positions, including senior service technician for most of his career and service manager for the last three years. His duties are reassigned by the promotion of two current employees: Scott Krankowski as technical service manager and Dustin Weaver as customer service manager.
