Ermaksan installs plasma cutting machine in Pennsylvania

Des Plaines, Ill.-based fabricating equipment provider Ermaksan has finished the installation of a 5-axis bevel head Hypertherm 400XD plasma cutting machine at a fabricating facility in Klingerstown, Pa.

The custom-designed machine accommodates 10- by 20-ft. plate up to 2-in. piercing and more than 3 in. of cutting from the side of the material in mild steel. It can achieve almost 8 in. of mild steel cutting with four separate built-in oxytorch heads.

The machine’s 5-axis bevel head allows the user to cut materials up to 45 degrees from straight cutting.
