ESAB acquires Swift-Cut Automation

ESAB, a provider of fabrication and cutting equipment and consumables, has acquired Swift-Cut, a manufacturer of light industrial CNC plasma and waterjet cutting machines based near Birmingham, England. The company recently expanded into the U.S. with offices in Plymouth, Mass.

Swift-Cut’s systems—available in table sizes of 4 by 4 ft., 8 by 4 ft., 10 by 5 ft., and 13 by 6.5 ft.—are offered with ESAB and alternative power sources for in-house multigas and air-plasma metal cutting.
