Hudson Tool expands in Colorado, adds saws in Illinois and North Carolina

Hudson Tool Steel Corp. the company has purchased seven Amada saws.

Anaheim, Calif.-based Hudson Tool Steel Corp. has opened its fifth stocking location in Longmont, Colo. The company is partnering with Beck Sales, a tubing, valve, and fitting supplier, to process and distribute its tool steel products to the Colorado market.

In addition, the company has purchased seven Amada saws: a PC430X pulse saw, two VM2500 plate saws, an HFA1000 40- by 43-in. precision block saw, one HA400W, and two HA250W cutoff saws. Five of the saws will be installed in the Rockford, Ill., facility, and two will go to the Charlotte, N.C., location.

Hudson Tool Steel stocks all standard grades and sizes of tool steel, high-speed steel, CPM steels, and specialty grades. The company delivers material cut-to-order, on-size or oversize, including precision-ground flat stock, standard flat or round bar stock, and drill rod.
