Walter Surface Technologies names CEO, VP of corporate development

Marc-André Aubé, CEO

Walter Surface Technologies, Montreal, a provider of abrasives, power tools, tooling, industrial parts washing systems, cleaners, degreasers, and lubricants, has appointed Marc-André Aubé to CEO and David Wright to vice president corporate development.

Following the recent acquisition of Walter Surface Technologies from ONCAP, in partnership with the existing management team, Aubé has been promoted to the CEO position from his previous role of president/COO. He joined the company in February 2017, having previously served as president/COO of GardaWorld Protective Services.

Wright joined the company in 2015 as part of its Next to Succeed leadership program, after which he held the position of business development manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Before joining the company, he was an Olympic athlete in the sport of sailing, competing in the 2012 Olympic Games.
