EVS Metal adds turret punch press to New Hampshire facility

Riverdale, N.J.-based metal fabricator EVS Metal has added an Amada AE 2510NT single AC servo-drive turret punch press to its New Hampshire facility. The machine has servo-electric-driven motors that allow for quicker turnaround on punching processes while saving energy. It integrates fabrication processes such as high-speed and downward forming, as well as safety-inch bending, which allows flanges to be processed in-cycle.

The machine consumes just 4.5 kW of power at its highest run rates. It offers automated tooling setup, program editing, and accurate press control.

This addition is the culmination of nearly $500,000 in equipment and tooling investments the company has made to this facility in the last year.
