Berndorf Belt Technology USA appoints president
Dr. Jeffrey Ahrstrom
Berndorf Belt Technology USA (BBT), a subsidiary of Berndorf Band Group, has named Dr. Jeffrey Ahrstrom as president of its North American subsidiary. He has more than 30 years of experience in the machine tool and manufacturing industries, most recently with BLM Group USA.
He previously served as executive vice president of MAG-IAS (now the Fives Group), managing director at DMG Mori Ellison Technologies, director of international business development at Fives Machinery Systems, and vice president and general manager of services America at MAG-IAS GmbH.
Based in Gilberts, Ill., BBT produces stainless steel, carbon steel, and titanium belts for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
