Hastings Air Energy Control to host welding seminar May 10

Hastings Air Energy Control Inc. will host a complimentary seminar, “Welding 2.0-Using BAT [best available technologies] to Protect You from Start to Finish,” on May 10 from 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at its Technology Experience Center in New Berlin, Wis.

The seminar will cover the latest regulations and best practices to address concerns with hex-chrome, manganese, and other hazards specific to welding. Attendees will learn about industrial hygiene, abrasives and grinding best practices, metal finishing, welding torches and fume control, ambient filtration, dust collection and controls, explosion remediation, and housekeeping.
