Kansas State University to host workshop on pollution reduction in metal fabricating/finishing

Kansas State University’s Pollution Prevention Institute will host a free, virtual workshop, “Compliance and P2 for Metal Fabrication/Finishing,” Nov. 5, 2020, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The workshop is designed for companies in the metal fabricating and finishing industries, whether they are major or minor sources of criteria pollutants and hazardous air pollutants.

The workshop will focus on the compliance requirements and P2 strategies for these industries and provide information to help participants reduce their pollution and regulatory burden. Topics will include common rules applicable to the industry and ways to reduce air emissions and hazardous waste generation.
