Rockford Systems machine safety training center expanded

Rockford Systems LLC, a provider of machine safeguarding products and services, has opened an expanded, multipurpose training center at its new Rockford, Ill., headquarters. The space will support education and training for safety professionals, plant managers, and machine operators.

The 2,200-sq.-ft. training center more than doubles the footprint of the previous center. It can accommodate one-on-one intensive training up to a 60-person classroom event. A multimedia projection system has been added, along with a new sound system, task lighting, and customer-dedicated spaces.

The training center supports the company’s existing machine safeguarding seminar curriculum, which includes hands-on demonstrations on 18 fully safeguarded machines under power, and OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 General Industry. It also enables the company to add a class on NFPA 70E, the industry standard for electrical safety in the workplace.
