STI/SPFA presents 2018 Safety Awards

Lake Zurich, Ill.-based Steel Tank Institute/Steel Plate Fabricators Association (STI/SPFA), an association for fabricators of steel tanks, pipe, and pressure vessels, has announced the winners of its 2018 Safety Awards.

The Safety Diamond Club Award recognizes companies that had the appropriate amount of labor hours or time worked without an OSHA recordable incident for five consecutive years. The winners are:

The Safety Award of Achievement recognizes companies that had a minimum 10 percent reduction in the OSHA TRIR, with no fatalities, during the 2018 calendar year, as compared with the average TRIR for the three previous years. The winners are:
