L.S. Starrett Co. appoints product manager of saws and hand tools

The L.S. Starrett Co., Athol, Mass., a manufacturer of precision measuring tools, metrology systems, and saw products, has announced the appointment of Charles Starrett as product manager, saws and hand tools.

Starrett spent five years at Caterpillar Inc. and is a graduate of its Leadership and Technical Development program. During his time at Caterpillar, he worked in various product groups and functional roles including procurement, supply chain, operations, and new product introduction. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and supply chain and operations management from Miami University, as well as an MBA from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
