Cidan Machinery Sweden AB acquires Forstner Maschinenbau GmbH

Cidan Machinery Sweden AB, a manufacturer of power folders, shears, and coil processing machines in Götene, Sweden, has announced its acquisition of Feldkirch, Austria-based Forstner Maschinenbau GmbH.

Forstner produces coil processing machines for the industrial, roofing, and architectural sheet metal market. The company will remain in Austria and become Cidan Machinery Group’s main coil processing center. Former owner and current managing director of Forstner, Renato Romagna, will remain with the company to secure a smooth transition.
