3-Dimensional Services Group announces retirement of founding employee

The 3-Dimensional Services Group, Rochester Hills, Mich., has announced the retirement of Rick Peterson, one of its founding employees, after a 40-year career in manufacturing.

Peterson started as a welder and bench hand, as well as an apprentice metal model-maker, working his way up to journeyman metal model-maker and plant manager for the family-owned Quasar Industries. His career then shifted to The 3-Dimensional Services Group in 2004, another family-owned company that specializes in prototyping and low-volume production manufacturing, where he worked as a program manager.
