AAM to expand in Spain
Detroit-based American Axle & Mfg. Inc. (AAM), a provider of driveline, metal forming, powertrain, and casting technologies for the automotive, commercial, and industrial markets, will expand operations in Viladecans, Spain, with a new, 161,400-sq.-ft. facility set to open in January 2019.
The plant, which will employ 170 associates at full capacity, consolidates two smaller facilities in nearby Gavà.
