Additive Industries appoints leader for Process & Application Development Center

Additive Industries, a provider of industrial 3-D metal printing equipment and software development, sales, and service, has named Shane Collins to lead its new North American Process & Application Development Center in Camarillo, Calif.

Collins, who has 20 years of experience in the production 3-D printing industry, previously served as director of additive manufacturing (AM) programs at CalRAM. In August he received the Robert F. Painter Memorial Award from the Society for Standards Professionals for his contribution to AM standards development spanning seven years of service.
