Aldine Metal Products marks 80 years in business

Aldine Metal Products, New Milford, Conn., celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. The company was founded in Brooklyn, N.Y., by Robert Blessey to serve the military procurement industry. After expanding into production of a larger variety of commercial metal products, the firm moved to Brookfield, Conn., in 1955.

Further growth led the company to relocate to a 20,000-sq.-ft. facility in New Milford in 2007, which fabricates products from precision-blanked components and formed parts to large sheet metal enclosures and walk-in structural weldments.

Capabilities include precision laser cutting, CNC turret punching, GMAW and GTAW, spot welding, short-run stamping, finishing, and assembly.
