Amada to present Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs awards gala

Elgin, Ill.-based Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs (NBT), the foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl., will host its annual awards gala on Oct. 21, 2021, at Manzo’s Banquets in Des Plaines, Ill. Presented by Amada America Inc., the event will honor several of manufacturing’s finest contributors during an awards presentation featuring inspiring stories from the beneficiaries of NBT camp and scholarship programs.

The gala will include dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds directly support the programs of NBT. To date, NBT has awarded more than $1.4 million in summer manufacturing camp grants and an additional $1 million in scholarships. These programs are designed to encourage the next generation to pursue manufacturing careers and fill the pipeline of skilled workers.
