AP&T to supply heat exchanger plate production line to Danfoss

Monroe, N.C.-based AP&T will supply a complete production line to Danfoss in Haiyan, China, for manufacturing heat exchanger plates used in refrigerating systems, air conditioning units, heating systems, air dryers, and hydraulic oil coolers.

The line will allow flexible manufacturing of heat exchanger plates, from coils to finished stack. It will comprise a high degree of automation, including many operator-independent functions that satisfy overall equipment effectiveness requirements. Delivery is expected to take place in Q4 2017 or Q1 2018.
