Atlas Technologies completes mold and die storage system

Atlas Technologies, Fenton, Mich., has completed an extensive mold and die storage system for an aerospace manufacturer in the Northwest. Installed in August 2017, the racking system is engineered to customer specifications to assist with the manufacturer’s increasing production demands moving into the future.

The system, configured to conform to the existing facility floor plan, will function in coordination with the manufacturer’s current mold and die methods and equipment. It accommodates a maximum die and mold weight capacity up to 66,000 lbs., with varying weight restrictions among the numerous racking tiers.
