Avid Boats expanding Mississippi facility

Aluminum fishing boat manufacturer Avid Boats is renovating and expanding its facility in Amory, Miss. The $7.96 million investment will create 50 jobs.

The company is rebuilding and expanding from its original 85,000-sq.-ft. facility, which suffered significant tornado damage in March, to 100,000 sq. ft. Construction is expected to be completed by December 2024, with new jobs filled over the next five years.
