AZZ Inc. acquires Powergrid Solutions

Fort Worth, Texas-based AZZ Inc., a provider of metal coatings services, welding systems, specialty electrical equipment, and highly engineered services to the power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial markets, has announced the acquisition of all the assets and outstanding shares of Powergrid Solutions Inc. (PSI), Oshkosh, Wis.

PSI designs, engineers, and manufactures customized low- and medium-voltage power quality, power generation, and distribution equipment. Its products include metal-enclosed, metal-clad, and padmount switchgear for the utility, commercial, industrial, and renewable-energy markets.
