Baltimore Aircoil to invest $16.5 million in Tennessee facility

Baltimore Aircoil Co. has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations in Dayton, Tenn. The $16.5 million project is expected to create 63 jobs, increasing the company’s total staff to more than 150.

The expansion is in direct response to the recent growth of the company’s dry coil and adiabatic cooling equipment businesses and will comprise significant infrastructure improvements, including facility and site improvements, coil manufacturing equipment, material handling equipment, and craneage.

Based in Jessup, Md., the company manufactures and designs commercial and industrial cooling equipment from locations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
