Bandit Industries announces expansion

Bandit Industries has announced plans to expand in Union Township, Mich., renovating an existing facility to which it will add production lines and new machinery. The project is expected to generate a total capital investment of $1.5 million and create 80 jobs in advanced manufacturing.

The Broomfield Township, Mich.-based manufacturer and supplier of woodchippers, stump grinders, forestry mowers, and waste reduction machines currently employs 761 people. In 2018, the founders sold 100% of the company to their employees, making it an employee stock ownership plan business.
