Belden Universal achieves AS9100C aerospace quality certification

Belden Universal, a manufacturer of custom universal joints and mechanical power transmission products in Broadview, Ill., has announced that it has achieved AS9100C aerospace quality certification.

The company initially sought the certification to meet the requirements of UTC Aerospace Systems, a supplier of aerospace and defense products, which was looking for a vendor of universal joints for its high-lift actuation systems.
