BSH Home Appliances opens North Carolina facility

New Bern, N.C.-based BSH Home Appliances Corp. has opened an expanded dishwasher manufacturing facility in New Bern, N.C. The $32 million expansion adds 100,000 sq. ft. to the previous 245,000-sq.-ft. facility.

The new facility includes new equipment and processes, centralized warehousing, a larger footprint for quality testing and measurement, two new 1,700-sq.-ft. training rooms, and a larger break room for employees. The expansion also allows the company to expand production lines for future demand growth.
