BTD Mfg. increases production capacity with new machines

BTD Mfg., Detroit Lakes, Minn., has increased its production capacity after adding four press brakes and a fiber-optic sheet laser to its Lakeville operation.

The electronic press brakes feature offline programming, full working length backgauge, user-friendly control screens, quick tool change capabilities, and integrated safety system.

The fiber optic sheet laser achieves precise, clean cuts at industry-leading speeds, the company reports. The firm plans to add more sheet lasers to the Lakeville facility, with the layout designed to optimize flow and square footage.

The company offers a variety of metalworking services, including metal fabrication, forming, welding, tool and die work, machining, powder coating, prototyping, laser cutting, robotic welding, stamping, cutting, tube fabrication, and EDM.
