Bulldog Steel Fabrication completes expansion, adds equipment

Bulldog Steel Fabrication (BSF), a supplier of steel fabricated parts and components, has completed construction of a 15,000-sq.-ft. expansion to its existing 50,000-sq.-ft. building in Madison, Ga. The expanded facility includes multiple 4-ton overhead cranes, new Miller welding machines, and fully certified welding staff.

At the heart of the expansion is a new, custom-built, side-downdraft paint booth from Global Finishing Solutions. It allows the company to apply wet coat paint to parts ranging from small, individual components to welded structures of 10 by 16 by 60 ft. and weighing up to 30,000 lbs.

The company also has expanded its fabrication capabilities with the addition of a 175-ton SEYI gap-frame press with a 15,000-lb. uncoiler and ¼- by 30-in. straightener, a 90-ton Verson punch press with 24-in. by 10-ft. T-bed, and an Amada horizontal band saw with a capacity of 20 by 20 in.
