Cadence Inc. appoints president/CEO

Staunton, Va.-based contract manufacturer Cadence Inc. has announced the appointment of Rob Werge as its new president/CEO. He succeeds Alan Connor, who is leaving the CEO post after a decade of leadership.

Werge has more than 30 years of experience in technology-driven contract manufacturing. He comes to the company from Phillips-Medisize, where he served for the past seven years as vice president and general manager of the global commercial division. Before that he led several global businesses, including automotive, consumer electronics, and the India region, at Nypro.

Cadence offers initial product design and development through manufacturing, specializing in specialty metal components and subassemblies.
