Capital Machine Technologies merges with Modern Machinery

Capital Machine Technologies, Tampa, Fla., and Indianapolis-based Modern Machinery have announced their merger. The two metal fabrication equipment distributors serve customers in the southern U.S. and Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan, respectively.

Capital Machine Technologies offers cutting, bending, welding, drilling, and punching machines from brands including Mazak, Accurpress, Safan Darley, and OTC-Daihen and specializes in robotic welding equipment. Modern Machinery provides machines for bending, laser and plasma cutting, robotic welding, metal finishing, and rolling.

The merger broadens the new entity’s portfolio of metal fabricating equipment, combines highly trained and skilled staff from both organizations, and allows the merged company to serve a wider geographic area.
