The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) has received a $200,000 grant for its precision machine technology and welding and metal fabrication programs from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.

The grant is a part of $2 million in re-employment funds for tech grants to an institution that has demonstrated a track record of training and placing adult students into occupations that are in high demand by local employers.

The grant allowed the CCCTC to purchase a CNC mill, CNC lathe, 3-D printer, laser engraver, 3-D scanner, metal pipe bender, metal shear, CNC plasma cutter, and multipurpose welding machine.
