CMI acquires Systems 3

CMI has announced the acquisition of Phoenix-based Systems 3, a manufacturer and supplier of flight-critical components to the aerospace and defense industries, including flight safety components that are essential to the operations of rotary-wing platforms such as the AH-64 Apache helicopter.

This is CMI’s third major acquisition since Gallant Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in CMI in 2020. In May 2020 CMI acquired Aerostar Aerospace and Warmelin Precision Products, both manufacturers of precision machined components.

Based in Phoenix, CMI is a manufacturer of critical components for engines, APUs, fuel and fluid systems, gears, hydraulics, and valves for commercial, military, and business jet platforms serving the aerospace and defense industry.
