Co-Lin Metals Fabricating Inc. acquires Hlava Industrial Welding

Co-Lin Metals Fabricating, Rockford, Ill., has acquired the assets of Hlava Industrial Welding and its building, also in Rockford. The acquisition added staff, equipment, and space.

Founded in 1958 by the Cottrell family, Co-Lin was sold to Stephen and Michael Hedlund in 2015. Michael has worked at the company for nearly 40 years. Stephen worked at Co-Lin in the summers while finishing college at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

The company is a full-service custom fabricating shop that specializes in industrial cabinets, machine guards, custom weldments, and stainless steel weldments.
