Coldwater Machine Co. to expand in Ohio

Coldwater Machine Co., a manufacturer and integrator of assembly automation and special machines, will add 27,500 sq. ft. to its current manufacturing space in Coldwater, Ohio, bringing the facility to 132,500 sq. ft. The addition will double the company’s available assembly areas for turnkey systems and provide additional floor space for expansion of its machine shop for precision machining.

The climate-controlled facility features more than 45 machine tools and overhead crane systems up to 25 tons. An on-site Solid State Joining Center is dedicated to the development of technologies that address the joining of lightweight and dissimilar materials. The company also has inspection and test equipment to support internal machining needs and its customers’ build-to-print activity for precision parts.

The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of November 2017.
