CWA gives $14,000 to Ontario high school for welding/fabricating equipment

The Canadian Welders Association (CWA) has awarded $14,000 to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School in Ontario for the purchase of new equipment for its manufacturing technology program.

With the funding, the school has purchased two multipurpose welding machines, a plasma cutter, a box and pan brake, a horizontal band saw, and a 35-ton shop press.
