Desktop Metal named Technology Pioneer 2017

Desktop Metal, a provider of metal 3-D printing systems in Burlington, Mass., has been selected as one of the world’s 30 most promising Technology Pioneers 2017 by World Economic Forum. Companies were selected for their potential to significantly impact business and society through new technologies and to advance the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The company reports that its DM Studio system is the first office-friendly metal 3-D printing system.
